Specially designed to provide relevant models for PNS applications, the rodent DRG organs-on-chip kit is composed of:
• 4 QuarterBentos of DuaLink
• 2 NeoBentos LIGHT frames with 4 plugs
• 2 vials of 500,000 axoCellsTM hiPSC sensory neurons each
• Coating and media solutions
• Online training on microfluidics & 1-hour of support meeting
What do you need to use it?
• Standard equipments (biological safety cabinet, micropipette etc…)
• Standard consumables (PBS, DMSO etc…)
To see all equipment and consumables required, please refer to our
Sensory Neurons Protocol.
In-vitro models:
• Chemotheraphy Induces Peripheral Neuropathy
• Sensory Nerve Injury
• Peripheral Neuropathic Pain
• Nociceptive Pain
Applications:
• Axonal transport
• Toxicology
• Virology (viral transfection in one compartment only)
Our aim is to translate physiological behaviors by integrating our technologies within one chip.
• Microchannel tunnels : Due to their micrometric measurements, only cell extensions can grow within the microchannels, leaving the cell bodies within the compartments themselves, that allow an enhanced fluidic isolation and discontinuous connectivity between compartments.
• NeoBento HT Format : The NeoBento is our versatile container which is in the standard 96-well microplate format, compatible with standard liquid handling and imaging equipment, and does not require expensive equipment. The NeoBento™ makes NETRI’s microfluidic devices as versatile and easy to handle as a typical 96-well plate.
• AxoCells Sensory Neurons : AxoCells Human iPSC-Sensory Neuron Progenitors are derived from integration-free iPSCs and have been differentiated to neurons using small molecules. Axol Bioscience offers a fully optimized cell culture system including tailored Sensory Maintenance Medium and coating reagents to promote the viability and maturation of sensory neurons for endpoint assays on glass or plastic.
