Specially designed for 2 isolated cultures connected via axons & functional activity recording.

With the DuaLink MEA microfluidic chip, the microchannels, NeoBento™ and electrophysiology technologies are combined in a single microfluidic chip, to recreate physiologicaly relevant 2 compartments of cell populations & monitor their functional activity :

• 3 compartments integrated on a custom Axion Biosystems MEA layer: 2 for cell culture & 1 for fluidic isolation
• 16 microfluidic chips per NeoBento™ MEA Pro with 672 electrodes
• 8 microfluidic chips per NeoBento™ MEA Edge with 336 electrodes
• Cell type electrophysology activity isolation per compartment
• Remote stimulation (compound or electrical)

Electrophysiology: Combining our advanced organs-on-chip devices with Axion Biosystems Maestro MEA benchtop systems allows users to record and analyze each compartmentalized cell population independently, allowing them to better understand the relationships and effects at play.

Microchannel tunnels: Due to their micrometric measurements, only cell extensions can grow within the microchannels, leaving the cell bodies within the compartments themselves.

NeoBento HT Format: The NeoBento is our versatile container which is in the standard 96-well microplate format, compatible with standard liquid handling and imaging equipment, and does not require expensive equipment.

Specially designed for synaptic isolation & functional activity recording.

With the DuaLink™ Shift MEA microfluidic chip, the microchannels, NeoBento™ and electrophysiology technologies are combined in a single microfluidic chip, to recreate a physiological synaptic compartmentalization  & monitor their functional activity :

• 3 compartments integrated on a custom Axion Biosystems MEA layer: 2 for cell culture & 1 for synaptic isolation
• 16 microfluidic chips per NeoBento™ MEA Pro with 672 electrodes
