NETRI (Our Company) is a French company working in the Biotech domain, which is the publisher of Netri.cloud digital platform that offers services to help discriminate chemical compounds on their effects measured on NETRI proprietary Organs-on-a-Chip testing platform.

This GDPR compliant privacy policy explains how NETRI uses the personal data we collect from you when you use Netri.cloud.

WHO IS THE DATA CONTROLLER

The Data Controller responsible for the processing of your personal data is NETRI SAS, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with capital of €3,266,992, registered with the Lyon Trade and Companies Register under no. 840 248 744, having its registered office at Bâtiment Bioserra 3, 76 rue Georges Gouy, 69007 Lyon, France.

WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT ABOUT YOU

Through Netri.cloud, NETRI collects the following personal data:

§  Personal identification information of the user

§  Name (First name and Last name)

§  Contact details including the Email address

§  IP address used to connect to Netri.cloud.

§  Connection information and log.

HOW WE COLLECT YOUR DATA

You directly provide NETRI with the data we collect. 
We collect data and process data when you:

§  Register on Netri.cloud;

§  Use Netri’s software such as Uplink+ and/or NaasHub;

WHY DO WE USE YOUR DATA

Our Company collects your data so that we can:

    • Manage your account including statistical monitoring and for managing the rights of the concerned persons;
    • Send Push notifications (when authorized) ;
    • Address security issues;
    • Evaluate the effectiveness of its services;
    • Identify product defects or inefficiencies;
    • Measure user engagement, feature adoption and hardware consumption;
    • Make informed decisions regarding :
        • Hardware production pipeline;
        • Resource allocation for client assistance;
        • Future product development.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

NETRI relies on the following legal bases to process your personal data, depending on the purpose pursued:

    • Performance of a contract concluded with you (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) — to create and manage your user account, grant you access to Netri.cloud, allow you to use NETRI software (including Uplink+ and/or NaasHub), process the batches you submit and send you service notifications you have authorized. This processing is carried out in performance of the T&Cs applicable to the services your company entrusted NETRI, in the framework of which your access to Netri.cloud is provided.
    • Legitimate interests (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) — to address security issues, detect and prevent fraud or abuse, ensure the integrity and availability of Netri.cloud; and to improve our products, our software and the user experience based on aggregated and connection/log data, as well as statistical data. NETRI’s legitimate interests are to operate a secure and reliable service and to continuously enhance the quality of the platform it provides to its customers. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation (see “What your data protection rights are” below).

We also process your personal data for statistical purposes and marketing purposes, to create profiles to track your activity on the Netri.cloud web portal for similar purposes, based on our legitimate interest

HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA

Our Company securely stores your data on Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (AWS) public cloud instance datacenters located in Paris area.

Netri.cloud relies on AWS tools to control access to personal data notably AWS IAM for identity and access management, encryption at rest in AWS storage (S3) and database services (RDS) and in transit (encrypted message queue), AWS KMS for secret management.

RECIPIENTS FOR YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Your personal data is accessed only by authorized NETRI staff who need it to operate the Netri.cloud service.

NETRI uses Amazon Web Services EMEA SARL (AWS) as a data processor for hosting and infrastructure services, acting under NETRI’s documented instructions pursuant to a data processing agreement compliant with Article 28 GDPR.

CONSERVATION

Our Company will keep your data:

  • for three (3) years after your last connection to Netri.cloud for marketing purposes;
  • For five (5) years following the end of the commercial relationship for archiving and litigation purposes;
  • For ten (10) years for financial data – as required by Article L. 123-22 of French commercial code.

Once this time period has expired, we will delete your data by an automatic process.

MARKETING

Our Company will not use Netri.cloud to send you information about other products and services of ours that we think you might like.

WHAT YOUR DATA PROTECTION RIGHTS ARE

Our Company would like to make sure you are fully aware of all of your data protection rights. Every user is entitled to the following:

    • The right to access– You have the right to request access to your personal data currently processed by the Company.
    • The right to rectification– You have the right to request that Our Company correct any information you believe is inaccurate. You also have the right to request Our Company to complete the information you believe is incomplete.
    • The right to erasure– You have the right to request that Our Company erase your personal data, under certain conditions.
    • The right to restrict processing– You have the right to request that Our Company restrict the processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
    • The right to object to processing– You have the right to object to Our Company’s processing of your personal data, under certain conditions.
    • The right to data portability– You have the right to request that Our Company transfer the data that we have collected to another organization, or directly to you, under certain conditions.
    • The right to withdraw your consent, when your data is processed on this basis without affecting the validity of said processing before the withdrawal of your consent.
    • The right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – You have the right to lodge a complaint with the French Data Protection Authority (CNIL) or any other competent supervisory authority in the EU Member State of your residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement (see “How to contact the appropriate authorities” below).
    • The right to define directives on your data after your death (post-mortem rights).

Our Company only uses strictly necessary cookies in a range of ways to improve your experience on Netri.cloud.

These cookies are required for Netri.cloud to function (e.g. to keep you signed in during a session and to secure your connection). They cannot be disabled and do not require your consent under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act (Loi Informatique et Libertés).

Session cookies are deleted automatically when you close your browser; persistent cookies expire at the end of the retention period set at the time they are placed, after which they are automatically deleted by your browser.
