La start-up industrielle lyonnaise NETRI finalise un tour de table de série A de 8 millions d’euros. Ce financement permettra à NETRI d’accélérer le développement de ses unités de production pilotes de dispositifs microfluidiques et de cultures cellulaires humaines afin de soutenir sa croissance, devenir le leader mondial industriel d’organes-sur-puce et d’étendre ses domaines d’applications. NETRI développe des technologies innovantes d’organes-sur-puce pour l’industrie pharmaceutique, les sociétés de services R&D pour les sciences de la vie (CRO) et la recherche académique. Lyon, France, le 3 Mars 2022 – NETRI, start-up industrielle d’organes-sur-puce, annonce aujourd’hui un tour de table de série A de 8 Millions d’euros auprès de ses investisseurs historiques (parmi lesquels des Business Angels privés et Polygone SA), de nouveaux investisseurs privés (parmi lesquels Altana Investissements et Netangels), un nouvel investisseur industriel pharmaceutique Néovacs, la Banque Publique d’Investissement et de ses partenaires bancaires (parmi lesquels la Place de l’Innovation du CIC). NETRI obtient le label « Deeptech » grâce au soutien de Bpifrance au travers d’un financement Deeptech à hauteur de 2 millions d’euros, et du pôle de compétitivité Lyonbiopôle Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes. NETRI a été accompagné par le cabinet Bignon Lebray et les commissaires aux comptes de SADEC-AKELYS pour la finalisation de ce tour, historiquement accompagné par le cabinet Adaltys et SOFRA, et par le cabinet en propriété intellectuelle Germain Maureau. NETRI a par ailleurs été accompagné par les cabinets Odicéo et Evoly Consulting. Dans le cadre du développement de ses activités commerciales en Europe et à l’international, cette série A permet à NETRI d’accélérer sa phase préindustrielle par la création de son unité pilote de production de dispositifs microfluidiques aux architectures brevetées et uniques au monde. Ce tour de table permet également à NETRI de développer son unité pilote de production de modèles biologiques cellulaires humains d’ici fin 2022, incluant ses technologies d’intelligence artificielle de réseaux de neurones. L’aide Deeptech permettra à NETRI d’accélérer la recherche, le développement et la mise sur le marché de nouveaux modèles, ouvrant vers de nouvelles pathologies et des applications en oncologie, en toxicologie, en nutrition ou encore en cosmétique, au-delà de son positionnement historique sur les troubles neurologiques. Ce tour de table permet à NETRI un nouveau coup d’accélérateur à sa croissance. Basée sur leurs travaux de recherche académique initiés au MIT (Boston, USA) et au CNRS (France), NETRI est fondée en 2018 par Dr. Thibault Honegger, PDG et Dr. Florian Larramendy, Directeur technique. The Lyon-based industrial start-up NETRI finalizes a Series A of €8 million fundraising round. This financing will allow NETRI to accelerate the development of its pilot production units for microfluidic devices and human-cell cultures in order to support its growth, become the world industrial leader in organs-on-chip and to expand its fields of application. NETRI develops innovative organs-on-chip technologies for the pharmaceutical industry, life science R&D service companies (CRO) and academic research. Lyon, France, March 3, 2022 –NETRI, the organs-on-chip start-up, today announced a Series A fundraising round of €8 million from its historical investors (including private Business Angels and Polygone SA), new private investors (including Altana Investissements and Netangels), a new pharmaceutical industrial investor NeoVacs, the Banque Publique d’Investissement (BPI) and its banking partners (including the Place de l’Innovation du CIC).
