Neuron-as-a-Sensor is a carefully streamlined method for assessing novel compounds with early, enhanced predictivity. It is based on the realization that neurons are the natural bio-digital sensors of the body, and that their sensing capability can be harnessed universally using compartmentalized electrophysiology .
Practicaly, NaaS is comprized of a suite of automated tools and protocols for experimentation, qualification, extraction, clustering and mapping of electrophysiological data using AI, paving the way for Digital Signature Libraries .
NaaS is a blueprint that can be deployed accross a variety of indications like Oncology, Vaccine Pain, Dermatology or Food & Safety Neurotoxicity.
THE WAY WE WORK.
Based on the Neurons as a sensor (NaaS) suite, we propose three different areas of collaboration to NETRI:
• Out-Licensing Programs for routine use of our patented technologies in your laboratories.
• Sprint Tests to predict and test the effects of your compounds in our production units in Lyon.
• Devices Sales for testing our patented technologies in your laboratories.

Out-Licensing Programs.
NETRI offers model-based licensing, including patents, devices, and databases. Clients pay setup fees for development, then license per application, benefiting from predictive data. These programs are composed of 3 steps :
1. Library Seeding: Co-development to establish a culture platform and seed library dedicated to your scientific and business needs.
2. Library Upscaling : Automation of target cell culture and blind screening of molecule panel, (fail clinical trial molecules, molecules on the market - to be defined with you …). Training of our AI and evaluation of predictability and translationality
3. Out-licensing: Technology transfer to your lab: training of technical team and support.. Definition of throughput, license perimeters and data ownership.

Sprint Test In Our Lab.
Use NETRI’s Neurons as a Sensor (NaaS) approach to rapidly (6 or 8 weeks) predict and quantitatively test the effects of drug candidates (action, efficacy and toxicity) with NeuroFluidics or NeuroFluidics MEA plateforms. Capatilizing on NETRI cell culture expertise, test your compound with your preferred control using:
• PNS Neurons: Sensory & Motor Neurons.
• CNS Neurons: Glutamatergic & GABAergic Neurons.
